My picks from Fall 2012

I'm going to openly say that I'm tired of scrolling between tons and tons of images of the past fashion
weeks! It's not to say I didn't like them: to the contrary, I was really attracted to a lot of what I came across. It's just there was so much I liked, I knew it would be hard to narrow down what I wanted to post as inspiration.

As I wrote in my pre-fall post, I'm very predictable in terms of things I like... but oh well. Here are some things I saw in Fall 2012 that I would love to own, or at least, love to accessorize from!

Lamenting beautiful Pre-Fall 2012

I joked with a coworker the other day about how for one semester in school I had to keep up with all the runway collections of the season and be able to speak on them... and how by the end of the semester I wanted my head to explode! Well, it didn't explode, but I certainly felt ridiculously overwhelmed by the entire experience. But I like being able to speak about the fashions semi-intelligently- so there was a plus!

Regardless of all that, I just wanted to post some images of beautiful things I would wear from shows for the Pre-Fall lines. Granted, spending money on something amazing from Alexander McQueen is definitely not in the budget, a girl can dream and be inspired. Maybe I'll find something vintage and similar in my thrift store trips.

On a related note, I have to say it's kind of weird to me when people say I have such an interesting style. I don't really think I do... what I like and what I admire is all very predictable-- feminine clothes, girlie, even subdued. Even my old love, EGL, is all about that sort of fashion-- with it's beautiful bell skirts and petticoats. I adore romantic and feminine fashion!

So while some people might think what I like is "out there", there are always a few who say "oh--I saw that and thought of you right away! That's so you!"-- and that makes me happy.
